Ghent rewards those who wander - and this duplex studio puts you right in the middle of it all. Set on the second floor in the heart of the city, the apartment fills with natural light through large windows that frame views over the rooftops and streets below. Whether you're here to explore medieval alleyways, browse the Sunday Bloemenmarkt at Kouter, or simply slow down over a long dinner, this is a place that suits all of it.

Living space
The studio's open layout makes clever use of its two levels, with the living and kitchen areas flowing naturally into each other. Large windows keep the space bright throughout the day, and the contrast between the sleek kitchen and the apartment's original architectural details gives it a character that feels genuinely Ghent. A dedicated workspace makes it equally practical if you need to log in between sightseeing, and the dining table is well set up for meals in.

Sleeping arrangements
The studio sleeps up to 4 guests across one double bed and two single beds - a workable setup for couples travelling with children, or small groups of friends. Bed linens, hangers, and clothing storage are all provided.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully integrated into the living space and equipped for self-catering: a stove, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and cooking basics including pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper. Dishes, silverware, and wine glasses are all on hand. If you'd rather eat out, the surrounding streets are lined with restaurants and bars, and breakfast spots are close by to get the day started.

Bathroom
The bathroom features a walk-in shower and is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer. Hot water and fresh towels are provided.

Location
The apartment sits in Ghent's city centre, within easy reach of the Kouter square - home to a popular flower market on Sunday mornings. Restaurants, bars, and local shops are steps away, and the city's main attractions are comfortably walkable from the front door. Paid parking is available off-premises for guests arriving by car.

Practical details
Check-in is self-guided via lockbox, giving you flexibility on arrival. Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace are available throughout the stay. Please note there is no smoke alarm on the property, no private entrance, and no washer or air conditioning on site. Cleaning is available during your stay if needed.
