Canal-city charm awaits you in the heart of one of Belgium's most captivating medieval cities. Set on the second floor of a character-filled building, this studio apartment pairs original architectural details - think soaring ceilings and exposed wooden beams - with a thoughtfully equipped kitchen and a genuinely comfortable place to rest. Whether you're here for Ghent's world-class museums, its lively restaurant scene, or simply to wander its cobbled streets, this is a base that earns its keep.

Living space
The open-plan layout brings the kitchen and living area together under those generous high ceilings, keeping the atmosphere light and unhurried. Natural light fills the space through windows that look out over the city center - an ever-changing backdrop that's especially atmospheric in autumn and winter, when Ghent's illuminated facades and cosy café glow come into their own. A TV is available for quieter evenings in.

Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom area offers a double bed with full bed linens and hangers for your wardrobe. A dressing area provides a practical touch, giving the sleeping space a sense of separation and order within the studio layout.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is well set up for guests who want more than a kettle and a microwave - though both are here. You'll find a full stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, cooking basics, and a complete set of dishes and silverware. A hot water kettle rounds out the setup. For mornings when you'd rather let someone else do the cooking, there's a breakfast and lunch spot directly below the apartment.

Bathroom
The ensuite bathroom features a walk-in shower, hair dryer, and shampoo. A separate toilet adds an extra layer of everyday practicality. Towels, bed sheets, soap, and toilet paper are all provided.

Practical details
Entry is via self check-in with a lockbox, so arrival is flexible and straightforward. Paid parking is available off premises. Heating keeps the apartment comfortable through Belgium's cooler months. The apartment is pet-friendly - your four-legged travel companion is welcome.

Location
You're in the center of Ghent - a city that rewards slow exploration. The historic Gravensteen castle, the Graslei waterfront, and the city's celebrated food and drink scene are all within easy reach on foot. The neighborhood immediately around the apartment is animated with restaurants and bars, making it easy to step out and find something good at almost any hour.
