Step out of your front door onto one of Ghent's most storied squares - Vrijdagsmarkt pulses with market days, café terraces, and centuries of city life, all within a few steps of this two-bedroom apartment. From here, the iconic three towers rise into the skyline, and on clear days you can take them in from your own private terrace without leaving home.

Living space
Natural light is the defining feature of the apartment. Large windows draw in daylight throughout the day, and the layout feels open and unhurried - somewhere between a city base and a genuine retreat. A dedicated workspace means remote workers are equally well catered for, and the TV is on hand for quieter evenings in.

Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms sleep up to four guests comfortably, whether that's a family, two couples, or a group of friends. One of the apartment's more distinctive touches is the walk-in shower located within the bedroom itself - an unusual configuration that adds a sense of openness to the sleeping space.

Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is set up for self-catering stays of any length. A refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, and hot water kettle cover the essentials, while cooking basics, dishes, wine glasses, and a coffee maker mean you can settle in from the first morning. There's a dining table for sit-down meals, and coffee is provided to get the day started.

Bathroom
A second bathroom completes the layout, stocked with hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and cleaning products - everything you need without a supermarket run on arrival.

Outdoor space
The private terrace is the apartment's standout feature. Furnished for outdoor use, it frames a direct view of Ghent's three towers - a sight that rewards both morning coffee and an evening glass of wine equally well.

Location
Vrijdagsmarkt puts you at the centre of Ghent's historic core. Traditional Belgian restaurants, cosy cafés, independent boutiques, and cultural landmarks are all within easy walking distance, and the area is well served by public transport for day trips further afield. The apartment includes self check-in via lockbox, a private entrance, and free street parking nearby - with paid parking off-premises also available for longer stays.
